Specifically, if one were to view all the speeches given by Bush and Cheney over the last 4 years, what percentage of the minutes of those were about Iraq and Afghanistan? In other words, how much time are they devoting to problems within America?
I'm really tired. I imagined this scenario. So dumb that you shouldn't even read this. I'm posting this late Friday night because most of you are cool enough to actually be out doing something.
As many of you know, Letterman and O'Reilly had a nice "discussion" on Letterman's show. (See recommended diary.) But have you heard about how O'Reilly lied on the show?

72 years ago today the 21st amendment was ratified. This amendment ended prohibition, repealing the 18th amendment. (Seems amazing to me that Utah was the state that took it over the top, being the 36th state to ratify it. Note too: Woodrow Wilson was against Prohibition. I mention that because that guy never gets any good press.)
From the Indianapolis Star: "A federal court judge Wednesday barred prayers that mention Jesus Christ or endorse any religion at the opening of each daily session of the Indiana House of Representatives."
